Which storyline should you pick in MyRise in WWE 2K24?

One of the main aspects of sports games is the ability to let you create your narrative. These games can become immersive by carving out a path unique to you. WWE 2K24 leans into that feature heavily. Like older entries in the series, the latest release features a MyRise mode which lets you live in the world of WWE. Each storyline offers something different, so both are unique in their own right. Follow along to figure out which storyline you should pick in MyRise in WWE 2K24. 

WWE: 2K24 – Which storyline should you pick in the MyRise mode

When you enter the MyRise mode in WWE 2K24, you’ll see two options: Undisputed and Unleashed. Apart from their brief descriptions, you may be unable to tell what separates them. To make it easy to understand, Undisputed is for the men‘s division, and Unleashed is reserved for the women’s division. If you choose to get the entire experience of the WWE 2K24, I suggest going through both narratives.

What are the differences in the story for MyRise?

The career mode of WWE 2K24 has some stark differences between the two narratives. Apart from who can fight in each section, there’s more to make Unleashed and Undisputed stand out from one another. By playing Unleashed, you’ll be starting from zero and have to make a name for yourself. From picking certain choices, your wrestler will be rising the ranks from starting in the indie scene to making her debut in big showcases like Royal Rumble. You’ll also be fighting household-name wrestlers like Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch. Having control and freedom over how your story unfolds, can pull you in and make you invest deeper.

As a fighter in the Undisputed faction, your goal will be to fight your way up to taking Roman Reigns’s title that he has vacated. This storyline in my eyes has a little less freedom since your goal will always be the same. In Unleashed, at least you’re trying to become number one which can be done in several ways. For Undisputed, it’s a little more linear. Even with that, the Undisputed narrative is rich, and the choices are surprisingly worthwhile that you can feel that the world in the game is changing according to you.
