The hit fantasy series Charmed, which ran on The WB (later rebranded to The CW) from 1998 to 2006, is now streaming on Peacock.
Created by Constance M. Burge, Charmed centered around the three magical Halliwell sisters — Phoebe, (Alyssa Milano), Prue (the late Shannen Doherty), and Piper (Holly Marie Combs) — who battle the forces of evil via their witchcraft heritage.
Is Charmed streaming on Peacock?
Yes, it is! All eight seasons of the original Charmed are now streaming on Peacock.
Fans are revisiting the classic show in the wake of Julian McMahon’s sudden passing over the weekend. McMahon, of course, played the character of Phoebe’s demonic husband, Cole Turner, for nearly all of its eight-season run.
“We spent years together on Charmed — years of scenes, stories, and so many in-between moments,” Milano mourned on Instagram. “He made me feel safe as an actor. Seen as a woman. He challenged me, teased me, supported me. We were so different, and yet somehow we always understood each other. Julian was more than my TV husband. He was a dear friend. The kind who checks in. The kind who remembers. The kind who shares. The kind who tells you the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable — but always with love.”
“One of a kind is an understatement,” added Combs. “Your unyielding zest for life and crazy making sense of humor will be sorely missed. The joy and laughter you were the direct cause of will always be remembered. I hope you find our lady friend and dance in those rose petals.”
The Australian actor, who also enjoyed roles in Nip/Tuck, FBI: Most Wanted, and the two Fantastic Four films directed by Tim Story, was 56. He is the second Charmed star to die in the last year after Shannen Doherty.
