This graphic novel is 144 pages long and is composed of the three-issue series first published by Eclipse Comics. Along with the original stories, this version features additional “artwork and improvements.” It follows Bilbo’s journey–from meeting Thorin Oakenshield to facing off against Smaug–with colorful artwork from David Wenzel, an illustrator who has worked on comics such as Avengers and Conan.
A Kindle version is also available for $13. Both the paperback and Kindle formats release on February 27.
