The lineup for Halloween Horror Nights in Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Orlando continues to unfurl this summer with the horrifying news that Art the Clown from the Terrifier film series is moving into his own official haunted house at Halloween Horror Nights 2025!
The slasher franchise launched in 2008 with the first Terrifier, which introduced Art the Clown to the world. The grease-painted supernatural entity is a Halloween fright that terrorizes the fictional town of Miles County, New York.

But 2025 has him expanding his territory as the brain child of creator/writer/director Damien Leone and producer Phil Falcone along with Dark Age Cinema Productions will get a bespoke Terrifer haunted house at both theme parks.
Halloween Horror Nights 2025 begins scaring guests in Southern California on September 4, 2025 and will take place on select nights all the way through November 2, 2025 at Universal Studios Hollywood. In Orlando, the scares start earlier, running 48 select nights from August 29 through November 2, 2025.
What to expect from the Halloween Horror Nights 2025 Terrifier Haunted House
The Terrifier Haunted Houses at both Halloween Horror Nights events will be inspired by the slasher film franchise currently consisting of three grisly chapters (a fourth is in development).
Per Universal Studios, guests who venture into the Terrifier haunted house will experience, “an unfathomable level of gore as they try to escape becoming Art the Clown’s next victim.”
Guests will walk into Art the Clown’s gruesome Funhouse, which first appeared in Terrifier 2 and follow a path that will include “the sights, sounds, smells and dread of Art’s grotesque kills, gleefully displayed for all to see.”

Franchise favorites like Vicky and the Little Pale Girl will guest star inside the house, along with recreated iconic kills from across the franchise. Once you make it inside the doors, you’ll get micro themed rooms like the Clown Café, a revolting bathroom and a rancid holiday turned deadly in a Christmas nightmare. Guests must escape Art’s twisted world — or become his next gruesome display.
Will there be exclusive Terrifier Halloween Horror Nights merch and collectibles?
Art the Clown would never leave his fans hanging, or maybe he would. But yes, fans can purchase new, limited release products, including a t-shirt and bag available at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood, or on Shop.UniversalOrlando.com, beginning Friday, July 11.
Look for a graphic Terrifier puzzle piece that will fit into the collectible Halloween Horror Nights frame, special to the 2025 event. Fans can collect this piece along with others representing this year’s killer line-up to assemble and create a bloody mural within the frame.
