Season 3 of SurrealEstateSYFY‘s spooky supernatural real estate drama, launched with a bang and a howdy last week after a chilling cowboy ghost revealed its true purpose.

How to Watch

Watch new episodes of SurrealEstate Thursdays at 10/9c on SYFY.

The series follows Luke Roman (Tim Rozon) and his team of highly specialized real estate agents, who sell paranormal properties at the Roman-Ireland Agency while meeting at least one freaky creature haunting those properties every week. They then exorcise the spirits through all means possible to clear the property and make things right with the owners, or soon to be owners.

With 21 episodes worth of paranormal “cases of the week” under their belts, series stars Rozon and Sarah Levy (Susan Ireland) have seen a lot when it comes to weird antagonists and creatures that go bump in the night. But the pair tells SYFY WIRE they remain amazed by what creator George R. Olson and his writers come up with in every script, and they shared some of their favorites to come in Season 3.

Sarah Levy previews Susan’s Children of the Corn moment in SurrealEstate Season 3

In Season 2, Susan was plagued by an automated home assistant that possessed her entire being. She was saved by her work family by the end of the season, but that entire ghastly experience is a tough one to best. Levy said that Olson and company absolutely raised the bar this season, especially with next week’s “Death Does a Refi” episode.

“One of my favorites to just shoot was Episode 3,” she told SYFY WIRE. “A couple that is haunting their farmhouse comes after me thinking that I am somebody I’m not. We go on a chase throughout the entire farmhouse and cornfield. And that was such a fun episode to work on, and totally satisfied my need to run. Just run! Check, bucket list.”

Tim Rozon’s unexpected reunion in SurrealEstate Season 3

For Rozon, one of his favorite episodes of Season 3 isn’t because of the creature but because of the guest star. “I was really lucky that I got to work with Kristopher Turner again,” he said with a big smile. “For people who don’t know, there was a little show called Instant Star that we were a part of many, many, many years ago.”

Instant Star, a musical comedy-drama from the creators of Degrassi, goes all the way back to 2004. As the young hunks of the series, Rozon played Thomas “Tom” Quincy and Turner played James “Jamie” Andrews.

Not wanting to spoil too much about Turner’s SurrealEstate appearance, Rozon just said that Turner will guest star in the back half of Season 3. “It was really great to work with KT again, that’s for sure.”

As for in-world favorites, Rozon said he also loves the “Death Does a Refi” episode because of his interactions with Death.

“Honestly, my favorite character came about in the form of Death itself,” he said of the manifestation of the soul catcher that introduces itself this season. “I thought, this is just so brilliant. And it’s just great for Luke. I mean, I can talk to dead people, so why not talk to the capitán of the dead anyway.”
