Two leakers in the Apex Legends community have sparked excitement and skepticism in equal measure, as they claim a reliable source has told them Titanfall 3 is coming.

Apex Legends leakers known as Osvaldatore and Yorotsuki reignited discussions about Respawn developing Titanfall 3, claiming it will be released in 2026.

According to the leakers, who do have a reasonable track record of accurate information about Apex, Titanfall 3 will be revealed at the 2025 Game Awards “at the earliest.”

On April 9, Osvaldatore published some actual information about the supposed game, claiming it will be a live-service title with a campaign, all the modes you expect, and even some Apex characters.

He also said it is “almost complete” and is being developed with Unreal Engine 5.

Some have asked whether it’s possible Titanfall 3 was the game Respawn canceled development of earlier in 2025, but Osvaldatore says his source is certain it is not.

While it is certainly fair to say that Osvaldatore has had many correct leaks about Apex Legends, such as new characters and seasonal updates, he did also incorrectly leak that Lifeline and Octane had a baby, and that the baby was the new Legend called Conduit. This, of course, was not even remotely true. So, even otherwise reliable leakers can be wrong at times.

Osvaldatore did clarify that his leaker is not “100%” on the announcement or release date, so left that information out of his April 9 post.

Titanfall 3 keeps getting “leaked” and never happens

Of course, these leaks were immediately met with doubt, not least because of the previous false rumors about Titanfall 3’s development.

In 2021, Jason Garza, then community coordinator at Respawn, addressed Titanfall 3 speculations during a livestream. “Don’t get your hopes up, man. I’ve said this before. We don’t have anything in the works. There’s nothing. We’ve got too many other games in the works right now,” he said.

Complicating things, Respawn’s official Twitter account later posted, “Contrary to what some folks are reporting, Titanfall is the very core of our DNA. Who knows what the future holds…”

In 2023, Respawn’s CEO Vince Zampella categorically stated that Titanfall 3 was not in development, but did add that he would love to see it happen.

There was also false hope when a GameStop in Germany reportedly began accepting pre-orders for “Titanfall 3” in 2022. The listings were eventually dismissed as errors or placeholders.

Given this history of unfulfilled rumors, the community is rightfully taking the latest leaks with a helping of skepticism.

Neither Respawn or EA have said anything about Titanfall lately, so while the community remains vigilant, hopeful for a return to the pilot and Titan battles, there’s nothing concrete yet.
