Celaray is a water-type Pal that not only has a cool Partner Skill, but they’re adorable, too. And if you want to add this lovable Pal to your collection, all you need to do is head to the right area. Here’s how you can catch a Celaray in Palworld.
Where to find Celaray in Palworld
I’ve found the best spot for catching Celaray in Palworld to be the beach to the southeast of the Small Settlement. This area is to the west of the Plateau of Beginnings on Palworld’s starting island. You should be able to find Celaray very easily on this beach as it’s quite a common Pal. Every time I’ve been to this location, I’ve seen three to four Celarays roaming around. Check out the map below for the search area to pay attention to.
The Celaray that spawns in this area is somewhere around level 3 usually, which is a very low level in Palworld. So, it shouldn’t take much of a fight to get it into a Pal Sphere. Make sure you pack a couple of these though since you don’t want to be on the verge of catching a Celaray only to run out of Pal Spheres.

The best ways to use Celaray
Celaray has a Partner Skill that’s called Zephyr Glide, and this lets it be used instead of the Glider in Palworld. This lets you move faster and traverse the rocky cliffs of Palworld with ease. You can use this ability by unlocking Celaray’s Gloves on the 7th level of the Technology tree. The gloves cost 5 Cloth, 3 Pal Fluids, and 5 Paldium Fragments to make.
In battle, Celaray isn’t that great, unfortunately. If you stack it up against Pals that are weak to water, then it’ll do just fine. But there are other Pals out there that are much better suited for fighting. With that being said, Celaray should absolutely be a part of your early game Pal collection in Palworld. It’s just too cute of a Pal to turn down at the end of the day.
