Sure, your weapon may be extremely powerful and even good-looking. I have two. Game over. Here is how to get Akimbo kills in Modern Warfare 3.

Modern Warfare 3: How to get Akimbo kills

If there is something that looks great and taken out of your favorite action movie from the 90s, that would be the Akimbo configuration in Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty in general. You see, Akimbo, also known as Duel Wield is the ability to use two copies of the same weapon at the same time, one on each hand. Getting Akimbo kills in Modern Warfare 3, then, is killing Operators while using this configuration during Multiplayer and other modes. You will have to upgrade your weapons until you unlock the Akimbo Rear Grip attachment. Here are all the weapons that can equip the Akimbo attachment in Modern Warfare 3.

Weapon Type
.50 GS Handgun
9mm Daemon Handgun
Basilisk Handgun
COR-45 Handgun
FTAC Siege Handgun
GS Magna Handgun
P890 Handgun
Renetti Handgun
Tyr Handgun
WSP Stinger Handgun
X12 Handgun
X13 Auto Handgun
WSP Swarm SMG
WSP Swarm

While shooting two weapons at once surely sounds incredibly entertaining, you are sacrificing quite a bit for equipping that configuration. The most obvious is losing the ability to aim down sights, which impacts your overall accuracy. On top of that, your moving speed will decrease as well as your range. I would suggest equipping Akimbo attachments in small maps such as Rust or Shipment. You will blend right in into the shooting madness.

If the idea of using Akimbo is something that has enticed you, then I suggest trying it in-game. You will automatically know if this is for you or not. I would pick the WSP Swarm as my go-to Akimbo weapon thanks to its fully-automatic prowess.
