The clock is ticking down to Universal Orlando’s new Epic Universe official opening day of May 22, 2025, and people just can’t wait to experience the innovative theme park’s thrills. Now, for select visitors, the wait can be over sooner than they thought.
Universal announced today that select guests can now buy tickets to access Epic Universe during its preview period beginning on April 17. That’s over a month sooner! The special sneak peek access is available to an array of visitors including Annual and Seasonal Passholders, active 2025 Military Freedom Pass Ticket Holders, Universal Rewards Signature VISA Card members and guests staying at any Universal Orlando hotel.
Meanwhile, if you aren’t able to be among those who can enjoy a preview, tickets are currently on sale for Epic Universe including single-day tickets and Express Passes.
Everyone in this flock of early birds get bragging rights to being among the first to experience the excitement at the park’s five immersive and imaginative worlds: How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk, Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD and Dark Universe
In addition to next-level rides and attractions that are designed for the whole family, Epic Universe features live entertainment, delectable dining, and themed shopping across the five areas.
Additional audiences will be able to purchase tickets to preview the Epic Universe in the weeks ahead. Universal is still putting final touches on the park for the grand opening on May 22, so be advised that during the preview period, availability of experiences within Epic Universe may vary.
The opening of Epic Universe now makes Universal Orlando Resort, which also has Universal Studios, Island of Adventure, and Volcano Bay, a week-long destination for vacationers.
Coinciding with the announcement of Epic Universe’s exciting preview period, Universal Orlando is now also accepting reservations for its newest hotel, Universal Helios Grand Hotel for arrivals beginning April 16. The hotel is comfortably located right within Epic Universe, meaning you can step outside and right into the park!
Amenities at the Helios Grand include an inviting pool, dining options including a restaurant and tavern, a fitness center and game room, rooftop with 360-degree views of the entire Epic Universe property (a view of the park that simply cannot be beat), as well as a dedicated entrance to Universal Epic Universe.
