If you’re unhappy with the available hair colors in this fantasy RPG, don’t worry too much about it. You can buy hair dye in Dragon’s Dogma 2, so here’s how to get it.

Dragon’s Dogma 2: How to get hair dye

While you can choose from an array of hair colors during character creation, some of them aren’t as vibrant as you may like. Although there doesn’t seem to be any way to dye your clothing, you can get hair dye in Dragon’s Dogma 2 by purchasing dyes from the Bakbattahl Pawn Guild.

Once you make it to Battahl and to the city of Bakbattahl, one of the first establishments you come across is their Pawn Guild. Head to the back where the Rift Stone is and you’ll find a vendor named Alexia.

Alexia only sells dyes, and while at first I thought it was clothing dye, it’s actually for your hair. Each hair dye is worth 500 RC and you can purchase up to five colors: Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, and Purple. After purchasing hair dye, you can’t just use it right from your inventory.

Instead, you have to head to a barborie, which is where you can change your appearance. As soon as you speak with the worker at the barborie (they’re the scissors icon on your map) it’ll show a pop-up explaining that you gave them your purchased dye.

Now you can pay 10,000 gold to change your hairstyle, which can also allow you to change your hair color. Scroll between color categories using the “Q” and “E” keys and you’ll find your purchase dyes. It’s not just one color, but it’s a ton of shades of that color that you can play around with.

That’s all it takes to get hair dye in Dragon’s Dogma 2. With that out of the way, you may have also not realized that you get houses in this game.
