With Jaws turning 50 this June, Universal Pictures is launching a year-long celebration that includes new merchandise, a theatrical re-release, an anniversary edition on Digital and Blu-ray, new Universal Studios theme park swag, summer streaming of the film on Peacock, and an Academy Museum of Motion Pictures exhibition opening in September 2025.

If you’ve never had the chance to experience the very first summer blockbuster on the big screen, a special 50th anniversary presentation will screen in theaters around the country beginning on August 29, running through September 4. At the Hollywood Bowl on July 5, Jaws will screen with John Williams’ iconic score played live by the Los Angeles Philharmonic. And on June 21, the Alamo Drafthouse Roadshow will screen the film at Martha’s Vineyard, where it was filmed.

Below, SYFY WIRE has also compiled a sampling of the many items that will hit stores this year celebrating Steven Spielberg‘s classic film, and a sneak peek at what’s coming in the Academy Museum’s Jaws: The Exhibition later this year.

Jaws 50th Anniversary merchandise

Jaws x Nautica

The popular menswear brand Nautica will debut their exclusive Jaws collaboration line on June 3 of this year, featuring men’s swimwear, graphic tees, and men’s fashion items that honor Bruce the shark and other iconic film imagery.

Kidrobot Jaws Dunny

Fans of designer toys and collectibles can look forward to the March 27 release of the Jaws Resin Dunny by Kidrobot, which celebrates the film’s iconic movie poster. A limited-edition, 8-inch art figure features the character of Chrissie Watkins swimming at the top of the figure and the lurking, predator underneath — all within translucent blue resin. Its unique design offers a different view from every angle.

Jaws x Eastpak

For those vacationing this summer, why not unsettle your fellow travelers with a Jaws-inspired suitcase or backpack from Eastpak? Available now, the limited edition line features two prints: the iconic 1975 movie poster showcasing the shark’s terrifying jaws beneath a swimmer, and a ’70s-inspired collage.

WOW Sports Jaws Collection

Pool parties will never be the same if you bring Jaws into your deep end. Starting March 14, the WOW Sports Jaws collection will offer two giant pool floats you can bring to any pool or beach day. One is a full body Bruce the shark and the other is the chompy part of the shark that you can safely float inside, or use to take the ultimate summer picture.

NECA “The Game of Jaws” 50th Anniversary Edition

A modern update to the classic 1975 Jaws tie-in game, NECA’s reproduction features “state-of-the-art, detailed sculpting and paint applications.” The infamous shark spans 15-inches in length and looks just like its movie counterpart. Get all the items out of the shark’s belly before the jaws snap down on the spear! Be sure to have a steady hand and not get too close to those deadly teeth! Includes over 15 different accessories to fish out of the beast’s belly, including an anchor, a boot, fish bones, a skull, a tire, a lantern, glove, and more. Pre-order the nostalgic game or new Jaws character action figures now.

Jaws: The Exhibition at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures

For those local to or visiting Southern California later this year, the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures at LACMA West opens Jaws: The Exhibition on September 14. Included with the price of admission to the museum, the exhibit will run through July 26, 2026 and tickets are available now.

Already the home to a completely restored (by special effects legend Greg Nicotero) full-sized Bruce the shark, the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures visitors will be able to dive into the making of the film in a one-of-a-kind exhibit for the film curated from the collections from Steven Spielberg and The Amblin Hearth Archive, NBCUniversal Archives & Collections. Per the museum, the exhibit will celebrate “the film’s 50th anniversary and revisits Jaws scene by scene, through original objects, behind-the-scenes revelations, and interactive moments.”

And be sure to check out all the new Jaws special 50th Anniversary merchandise at both Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Orlando beginning this May.
