How does the Road to Riches milestone event work in Monopoly GO?
Road to Riches is the second milestone event for the Monopoly Origins album and season.
In milestone events, your aim is to collect as many points as possible, as at certain point thresholds, called milestones, you’ll receive rewards. These rewards get better and better as the milestones progress, but the point requirements get greater and greater!

How to get points in Road to Riches in Monopoly GO
To get points in Road to Riches in Monopoly GO, you’ll need to land on Utility and Tax tiles, for the following points:
- Tax Tile = 3 points.
- Utility Tile = 2 points.
Points earned here are multiplied by your dice multiplier, so roll high to win high! With multiplied point gain, you can soar through the first many milestones of this tournament, netting you huge rewards that will serve as a great start in the Gardening Partners event. Get rolling!
Best way to win Road to Riches in Monopoly GO
Any milestone event that requires you to land on Tax and Utility tiles are a little tricky, as there are only four tiles on the entire board that will net you points, one on each side. To preserve your dice to roll as much as possible, only activate your dice multiplier to maximum when you’re within 4 to 7 spaces away from a Tax or utility tile.
This is to maximise your chances, as rolling two 6-sided dice, they are typically the most common totals to come to. You can be your own judge of this, but that’s generally good advice. Of course, the roll of the dice are completely random, so ultimately you are at their mercy.
How long will Road to Riches last in Monopoly GO?
The Monopoly Origins milestone event will start at 3 PM UTC on January 8, and will last for 3 days, ending on 11 January at 3PM UTC.
