Independence Day weekend has arrived and you know what that means… That’s right, another 24-hour trip into The Twilight Zone.

SYFY‘s annual Fourth of July marathon begins on Friday, July 4 at 5:00 a.m. ET with Season 1’s “The Four of Us Are Dying,” a tale about a man (Harry Townes) who can change his face at will. The gauntlet through the fifth dimension runs into the early hours of Saturday, July 5, closing out with the hour-long Season 4 episode, “Of Late I Think Of Cliffordville,” in which a rich business tycoon (Albert Salmi) sells his soul to the Devil (Julie Newmar) in exchange for a chance to build his empire all over again.

“It’s just an honor to know that his legacy will continue to live on forever,” Jodi Serling, eldest daughter of Twilight Zone creator Rod Serling, told SYFY WIRE in late 2024 when we brought up the topic of yearly marathons devoted to the groundbreaking series. “And if he even knew that…he was such a humble kind of guy. I don’t think he realized what an impact that he was going to make on our society. He was just a really incredible man. And now that I’ve gotten older, I appreciate even more about what he did for society and everything. I’m learning more and more about him as I grow even older, because as a child, you have a different perspective on your parents. But I honor him, I love him, and I miss him.”
