There’s a new Helldivers 2 Warbond–the game’s take on a battle pass–to unlock this month, and in April, the focus is on dealing some explosive damage. While the Cutting Edge Warbond offered high-tech laser weaponry, the Democratic Demolition premium warbond has explosive weapons, durable armor, and some slick capes to unlock.
For the weapons, players can add the BR-14 Adjudicator Rifle, R-36 Eruptor Rifle, CB-9 Exploding Crossbow, and the GP-31 Grenade Pistol to their arsenal. There’s also an Expert Extraction Booster to collect, and the armor pieces include the CE-27 Ground Breaker, CE-07 Demolition Specialist, and FS-55 Devastator sets.
As a reminder, the premium Warbond costs 1,000 Super-Credits, which can be earned by playing the game and discovering small caches of them or buy purchasing them online. This will cost you $10 to access the Warbond this way, and you can then spend your medals on unlocking the new weapons and armor. There are also small caches of Super Credits in the Warbonds, so theoretically, you can save them up and get your next Warbond for free.
BR-14 Adjudicator Rifle
An armour-penetrating marksman rifle with high levels of accuracy, this one is best used against smaller groups of enemies.
R-36 Eruptor Rifle
This bolt-action rifle hurls jet-assisted shells into enemies, and when they make contact, they’ll release explosive shrapnel in all directions. You’ll probably not want to use this in close-quarters combat.
CB-9 Exploding Crossbow
For long-distance specialists, the CB-9 Exploding Crossbow fires powerful exploding bolts. You’ll need to account for gravity when you let loose a bolt, but these will make quite the impact on your enemies.
GP-31 Grenade Pistol
A pistol that fires grenades, this should come in handy when you need to close bug holes up. Just remember, it’s a one-shot item, so you’ll need to reload constantly.
G-123 Thermite Grenade
Cook your enemies with a grenade that can stick to surfaces before it unleashes a flaming-hot explosion.
Expert Extraction Pilot Booster
Tired of waiting two minutes for an extraction? This booster will lower the time it takes for the extraction shuttle to reach you at the extraction beacon.
Capes
This month, you can dress for managed democracy success with the Harbinger of True Equality, Eagle’s Fury, or Freedom’s Tapestry capes.
